Why we're building Stelo

Too many pieces

An evening in front of the screen used to start with one remote. Today it starts with a hunt: one app for the news, another for films, a website for a channel from home, a radio stream in a browser tab. Each piece has its own menu, its own login and its own idea of what you should watch next.

One home screen

Stelo brings those pieces together. Live TV from around the world, live radio, and a library for the movies and series you add, all on one home screen that learns what you come back to. Your country comes first, your favourites stay close, and the thing you were watching last night is one click away.

What we hold ourselves to

Stelo is free at the core. We are honest about where everything comes from: we do not host, sell or own any channel, film or show, and every channel can be reported. We check the catalogue every day and drop what no longer plays. And we keep it private: no account to make, no profile to build.

Where we are going

We want Stelo to be the first screen people turn on. That means more countries, more devices and, later, the option to bring the streaming services you already pay for into the same place. One screen for everything you watch and listen to.
